Health Information Form
The BSA Annual Health Form is required for all
scouting activities. We collect
these when at the beginning of each year.
You can download this form, fill it out, and save the completed
information on your computer for when it’s needed. The form is good for only one year, so
you will have to print it multiple times during your son’s years with the
pack.

Youth Protection Training
All leaders are required to take the BSA’s youth
protection training on-line course every 2 years. Youth protection briefings are required
for all parents annually.
We highly encourage all parents to take this
course as well. Please visit www.myscouting.org to take the 30
minute training. You will need to
create an account. Then follow the
Training / e-Learning links to Youth Protection Training.
Academic & Sports Pins and
Beltloops
In addition to the ranks that your son is
pursuing, they can demonstrate their interests or try new areas by
completing Belt Loop or Pin requirements in a variety of Academics or
Sports. See the following guide for
details on the requirements to earn Beltloops or Pins. Beltloops are easy introductions to
topics. Encourage your son to delve
deeper into a topic demonstrate his mastery by completing Pin requirements.
Note that several new awards have been added in
2010.
